This page will host short briefs, explainers, reflections and useful resources on climate justice, migration, gender justice, human rights, biocultural diversity and socio-ecological wellbeing in the Mediterranean. Our aim is to make complex issues more accessible, connecting research, community knowledge, cultural practices and lived experiences.
Plants, migration and memory
This article reflects on previous work carried out in Malta by members of N.a.di.r, exploring how plants, food, healing practices and traditional ecological knowledge can connect migration, memory, belonging and environmental care. It reflects N.a.di.r’s broader vision of biocultural diversity, community-centred knowledge and socio-ecological wellbeing in the Mediterranean.
